We loved our stay at Walauwa The Villa. The spacious and clean rooms were equipped with everything we needed, including a hot shower and a kitchen. The host family was incredibly helpful and provided us with great information about local activities. They even drove us to the turtle sanctuary and a local tea shop. The delicious breakfasts and the close proximity to the beach made our stay even more enjoyable. we highly recommend this hotel for a wonderful experience.

The owners of this guesthouse were incredibly friendly and welcoming. They showed us around and provided us with delicious typical Sri Lankan breakfast and dinner. It was great that we had access to a kitchen to cook our own meals. The cleanliness of the room and bathroom was impressive, and we loved the flourishing garden surrounding the charming, ancient house. On top of that, the beach was easily accessible on foot.

The owners were a bit too pushy when it came to suggesting tours and activities in the area. the price of their meals was a bit expensive.
