The owners and village people at Dala-Floda Vardshus were incredibly hospitable. When I fell in the gutter and got my pants dirty, the owner washed them for me overnight. The village environment was also beautiful. I highly recommend this hotel.

Spent last Xmas in a cozy hotel with a breath-taking view of the lake, just a few steps away. Enjoyed the delicious breakfast, made from farm-fresh local products, and the delightful staff was always helpful and charming. A perfect spot for a romantic winter getaway, or just to escape from the hustle and bustle of city life.

Sadly, the Wi-Fi was spotty and unreliable, making it difficult to stay connected during the holidays. Plus, the room was quite outdated and could use some modern touches to make it more comfortable. While the location was great for a serene retreat, it was quite remote and difficult to find without GPS. All in all, a mixed experience.
