We loved the peaceful and tranquil atmosphere, perfect for backpackers. The accommodation was comfortable and the breakfast served on the sun-drenched deck was a favorite. Exploring the island on foot or by bike was a great way to see the Stockholm archipelago without the crowds. The common areas and play area for kids were a plus.

We felt well taken care of and had nothing to complain about.

the stay at Svartso exceeded expectations, even compared to a previous visit. It was a budget stay, but the staff was extremely accommodating and the location was close to the dock and other attractions. A bonus was the beautiful fall foliage during the low season.
