We had a fantastic stay at a very good location in the old town. The staff at the guesthouse were extremely helpful and friendly. Our room was well-equipped with amenities like a fridge, hair dryer, and both European and English plug sockets. Despite being located above a bustling street, we were pleasantly surprised that the room was quiet all night. The guesthouse is perfectly situated for exploring central Zurich, with the river just a block away, the lake a five-minute walk, and the main railway station only ten minutes away. There are also plenty of dining options in the area. a great experience at Alexander Guesthouse Zurich Old Town.

With its location in the old town of Zurich, the Alexander Guesthouse provides an ideal base for families to explore the city. We were delighted to find that the guesthouse was just a short walk away from the zoo of Zurich, one of the best zoological gardens in Europe. Our children were thrilled to see a wide variety of animals and learn more about wildlife conservation. The spacious and comfortable room allowed us all to rest and relax after a day of adventure. The staff at the guesthouse were warm and welcoming, ensuring that our family felt right at home in Zurich.

For dads, it would be great if the guesthouse could provide a few more family-friendly amenities, such as a designated play area for children.

The location was amazing, just a short walk from the train station. The staff were super helpful and friendly. The room was brand new and had everything we needed. Lots of GREAT cafes, restaurants, and bars nearby. Plus, there was a lift!

I had a fantastic stay at Alexander Guesthouse in the heart of Old Town. It was perfect for my overnight layover. The location was ideal, with plenty of restaurants within walking distance. Mark and Arturo were incredibly friendly and gave great recommendations for local places to visit. The room was clean and had USB ports for easy charging. The shower had great pressure and hot water, and the provided soaps smelled amazing. it was a great value for the money.

I recently stayed at Alexander Guesthouse in Zurich for a week. From the friendly and helpful receptionist to the convenient location near shops and restaurants, my experience was excellent. I was pleasantly surprised when the staff took our luggage to our room and the room itself was clean and tidy with a lovely balcony. As someone with severe asthma, I requested a non-scented room and was happy to find that it was odorless. The hotel was within walking distance of the main railway station, making it easy to explore the city without relying on public transportation.

The location of the hotel is excellent, with easy access to all the main tourist sights and the train station. The room and bathroom were clean and well-maintained, with a Dyson air fan and bottled water provided. The hotel offers a card entry system for security.

The lack of a manned reception and only a card entry system can be inconvenient and uncomfortable for guests.
