We loved staying at this hotel! The location was perfect, right next to tram line 3, so we had quick access to the city center. The hotel was also opposite the police station, which made us feel safe and secure. The room was clean and spacious, with very comfortable beds. The bathroom was also spacious and well-maintained. The staff was kind and helpful, providing us with a mobility card for free tram and bus rides. The breakfast was delicious and had a wide variety of fresh options to choose from.

The breakfast was satisfying and the staff was friendly and helpful. Plus, the hotel offers free water and coffee in the rooms, which was a nice touch. we had a pleasant stay.

We have stayed at this hotel numerous times over the past 30+ years and it always meets our needs. The hotel's location is excellent, as it has a tram stop right outside, making it easy for us to explore the city. Additionally, the hotel is close to the Rhine and parkland, providing a picturesque setting for walks. The breakfast selection is impressive with an early start time, perfect for busy days.

Stayed at Alfa multiple times in 30+ years on our way to other places. Quiet room with great facilities, comfortable bed. Convenient tram stop outside. Easy to find. Excellent price for Basel. Front desk provided instructions for self-check-in. Tram from hotel to city center in 10 mins. Free parking next to hotel. Helpful staff, even printed my plane tickets.

Had a great Thanksgiving weekend in this hotel! the free breakfast and parking were a nice touch. Loved the free public transport pass and easy access to the city via tram, with lots of shops and restaurants nearby. the view from the windows was superb, and the room was comfortable and clean with daily coffee and mineral water.

The best aspects of my stay were the comfortable beds and the convenient location. the beds were so cozy and provided a good night's sleep. the hotel's location was perfect for exploring the city, with easy access to public transportation.

The worst aspects of my experience were the lack of breakfast options and the slow Wi-Fi. the Wi-Fi in my room was extremely slow, making it difficult to stay connected and get work done.
