I recently stayed at Backpackers Villa Sonnenhof and had a fantastic experience. The cleanliness and organization of the hotel were exceptional, and I highly recommend it. The views from the hotel were stunning, and the spacious and well-equipped kitchen was a definite plus. The amenities, such as laundry and cooking facilities, made my stay even more convenient and enjoyable.

The location of the hostel is very convenient, with supermarkets close by and easy access to both train stations and the main part of town. It is also located in the Jungfrau ski area, making it a great choice for winter sports enthusiasts. The rooms are clean and comfortable, with a lovely view of the park, old town, and mountains. The bathrooms are well-maintained and there is plenty of hot water. The staff is friendly and helpful, providing valuable information about the area and suggesting walking routes. The hostel also offers useful facilities such as free lockers for baggage storage and free laundry services.

There were some noise issues, with noisy guests in the gardens and dorm mates being disruptive late at night.

Despite the inconveniences, the hostel had a decent breakfast with tasty options like Nutella and yogurt with granola. the staff was friendly and knowledgeable, helping me identify the mountains in my pictures. the locker room was a great feature to keep my belongings safe while exploring.

The hostel was a bit far from the station, about a 13-minute walk. the buses were not very frequent, so it was often faster to just walk.

We recently stayed at a hostel in Interlaken and were pleasantly surprised by Backpackers Villa Sonnenhof. Despite its size, the hostel had a lot of character. the location was excellent, being close to the center of town and within a 10-minute walk of Interlaken Ost. the staff were very helpful upon our arrival, providing us with a map and recommendations for affordable dining options. We even received free tokens for laundry or the coffee machine. the kitchen and cooking facilities were top-notch, and being downstairs, noise was kept away from our accommodation. the hostel offered free parking and had plenty of communal areas to relax both inside and outside.

Great breakfast, patio with mountain view, prime location, free amenities, friendly staff, cool common area. Clean and modern amenities, well-maintained fully equipped kitchen, children's playground nearby, walking distance to town. Very comfortable, lots of nearby activities, exceptional customer service.

The staff were super friendly and helpful, recommending non-touristy spots and arranging activities like skiing. The free bus pass was useful. The tokens for laundry or coffee were a nice touch.

Felt snug, but nothing too much trouble.

Our stay at Backpackers Villa Sonnenhof - Hostel was incredible! The cost performance was excellent, and the hostel had everything we needed. The rooms were clean, and the staff was friendly and knowledgeable. We were impressed with the breakfast selection, which included butter, Nutella, yogurt with granola and cornflakes, and a coffee machine with various options. The hostel also had a locker room to keep our belongings safe after check-out. The location was perfect, with plenty of nearby attractions and activities to explore. it was the perfect place for a first-time traveler looking to stay in a hostel.

I had a wonderful stay at this hostel. the staff at Backpackers Villa Sonnenhof - Hostel were friendly and helpful. They even lent me a plug converter when I needed one. the hostel is well-organized, making it easy for late arrivals. the room had enough space for six people and offered a beautiful view of the mountains. Each bed had a light and plug for charging devices, and the lockers provided ample space for a cabin suitcase. the toilets were conveniently located inside the room, and the showers were clean and spacious. the breakfast provided a variety of options, including hot drinks, bread, jam, cheese. the hostel also had a large kitchen with plenty of cookers and a big table.

The location of this hostel is fantastic, as it is very close to both the train stations and within walking distance to areas we wanted to see. It was nice to have a walk around the park nearby and enjoy the beautiful views of the mountains.
