I really got my money's worth at Hotel Bernerhof. The room was huge and spotlessly clean. Plus, the location was perfect, just a short walk from the train station. The staff treated me like a VIP, giving me great recommendations and even helping me plan my day trips. And, oh my, the view from the balcony of the Eiger mountain was absolutely stunning!

The only thing that could have made breakfast better was the selection. It would have been nice to have more options to choose from.

Additionally, the hotel's proximity to the gondola up to First was a bonus, taking only about 5 minutes to reach. I found the staff to be incredibly helpful and friendly, always willing to give me advice and assistance. The clean and comfortable single room I stayed in had a cozy and fluffy bed, ensuring a good night's sleep. The breakfast provided was excellent, with a wide variety of delicious options to choose from. I particularly enjoyed having my breakfast while admiring the breathtaking views of the mountains directly from the dining area. The hotel facilities, including the complementary coffee and tea in the lounge area, added to the overall positive experience.

The hotel is conveniently located near the train station and supermarket, making it easy to get around and find necessities. The view from the balcony in the morning was breathtaking, with the mountains and train station creating a picturesque scene.

The rooms were small and cramped, especially the single rooms. It was difficult to move around with luggage, and there was no extra seating besides the bed.

The hotel was conveniently located near the train and bus stations, making it easy to explore the area. Plus, there was a small car park at the rear of the hotel which was very convenient.

The rooms were quite small and the bathroom was tiny. It would be worth considering upgrading to a larger room if you prefer more space.

The location of this hotel is superb, just a 2-minute walk from the train station in Grindelwald. It's so convenient for exploring the area and trying out different restaurants. Plus, being able to sit in the second-floor restaurant and enjoy complimentary coffee and tea is a lovely touch. The service provided by the staff is exceptional, they are extremely friendly and accommodating. The rooms, although a bit small, are kept spotlessly clean and have all the basic amenities you need. The breakfast spread is amazing, with plenty of options to choose from including fresh eggs and delicious Swiss coffee.

The only slight downside is that the rooms are a little on the small side.

The hotel is in a very good location a stone throw away from the train station and is facing the Eiger Mountain. It is also opposite the bus station, making transportation convenient for exploring the area. The bed in the room was great and provided a comfortable sleep, while the balcony offered fantastic views of the surrounding mountains. Additionally, the breakfast provided a good start to the day, and the staff were friendly and helpful.

I had a wonderful stay at Bernerhof in Grindelwald. the staff were all very professional and responded sufficiently to all our requests and questions. the lobby, where they served tea and coffee, was a nice and comfortable place to relax after a day of hiking. the reception staff were excellent, always happy to help with everything we needed. They gave us excellent recommendations for sightseeing options and patiently answered all our questions. the breakfast at the hotel was also great, with a variety of choices and kind staff. the balcony offered stunning views of the mountains both day and night. it was a great place to stay and I would definitely go back.
