The location of the hotel was ideal as it was close to the Funicular for easy access to the main attractions in the area. It was also conveniently located near the city center, allowing for a pleasant walk along the lake. The room was spacious and comfortable, with a well-maintained bathroom. The staff provided excellent service, catering to the guests' needs and offering a warm welcome. The breakfast buffet offered a wide variety of choices, ensuring a satisfying start to the day. The hotel also had attractive facilities, including a pleasant garden area.

One negative aspect was the mix-up with room preferences, as some guests were initially given smoking rooms despite having requested non-smoking rooms.

I had the most amazing stay at this hotel. The location was perfect, right by the lake and with stunning views of the jet d'eau. The hotel had a range of fantastic amenities, such as room service, car hire, and even bicycle hire, making it easy to explore the surrounding area. The staff were incredibly friendly and attentive, from the front desk to the cleaning ladies and waiters. The service was top-notch and I felt well taken care of throughout my stay.

My family and I recently stayed at Hotel De La Paix for a few nights and we had a truly delightful experience. The rooms were clean and comfortable, and the staff at the front desk were friendly and helpful. We especially enjoyed the complimentary pass for the city's public transportation, which made exploring the area even easier. The hotel's patio outside the restaurant was a lovely place to sit and relax, and the continental breakfast offered a good variety of options. The free internet service throughout the hotel was also a big plus.
