The hotel's transportation service was convenient, with a bus stop just 40 yards away. The free travel pass provided by the hotel allowed me to explore the charming village and nearby Interlaken easily.

During my recent stay, I had a wonderful experience at a charming family style hotel in a beautiful area of Switzerland. The owners were incredibly helpful and friendly, offering to do our laundry for only 5 CHF, which was a lifesaver during our trip. The breakfast they provided was absolutely delicious, setting us up for a great start to the day. The hotel also had a stunning view of the mountains, making it a truly picturesque location.

In terms of location, although the hotel was located a bit far from the center of Interlaken, they provided a daily bus ticket for us to commute, and the bus stop was conveniently located just 40 yards from the hotel. The bus ran from 7am to 7pm, allowing us to easily explore the Interlaken area.

Lovely breakfast with various options of fresh homemade food. Quiet room with a nice mountain view and occasional cow sightings. Friendly and kind owners. Convenient location with a bus stop nearby for easy transportation to Interlaken.

I recently stayed at a quaint place tucked away in the mountains near Interlaken. The Gasthof Baren was a quiet and calm hotel with a welcoming and warm atmosphere. The hotel was clean and my room had a comfortable bed and a window facing the beautiful mountains. I opted for a room with a shared bathroom, which turned out to be lovely. The toilets were conveniently located just in front of my room on the 2nd floor, and the shower was clean with great water pressure. The hotel also had a restaurant with delicious food and a lovely breakfast spread. my experience at Gasthof Baren was fantastic.
