The hotel's location in the city center was ideal for exploring this beautiful city. It was only a short walk to tram stops and over the bridge to the old town. Additionally, being in a quiet area allowed for a peaceful stay. The cleanliness of the hotel was impeccable, and the staff were friendly and helpful. The breakfast provided was delicious and the hotel facilities were modern and well-maintained.

Modern and centrally located, with clean rooms and delicious breakfast. Conveniently close to the city center, old town, bars, restaurants, and shops. Helpful and friendly staff in both the hotel and apartment. Spacious apartments in a great location near tourist attractions. Safe for families with small children, even with proximity to red light area. Plus, enjoyed the complimentary Basel card for free public transport and sweet treats for the kids upon departure.

We recently had a romantic getaway in a hotel located on the east side of the city, which was quiet and just a short walk away from the bustling downtown. One of the best things about the hotel was the comfortable bed and pillows, which provided an excellent night's rest. We also appreciated the free use of the city transport pass, which made it easy to get around and explore the area. Plus, the hotel was close to public transportation stops, which was very convenient.

One of the worst things about the hotel was that the reception desk was not staffed on Sundays and the entrance had a metal gate that was difficult to use. we were not happy about the location of the hotel, which was located near a red-light district.

We loved the charming courtyard with its adorable cafes and restaurants. It made us feel like we were part of the local neighborhood. The location was fantastic, with cute cafes and restaurants as well as buvettes along the Rhein. We also appreciated the Basel card they gave us, which made getting around so easy. The room was clean and comfortable, and the bed was very cozy. The free transportation pass was a great perk, and we used it constantly to explore the city. we had a wonderful stay and would definitely come back.

The location of the hotel was perfect for my needs, being conveniently situated halfway between the Messe where Art Basel was held and the charming Old Town. It was also very easy to find by car. the staff at Balade were extremely helpful and made my stay enjoyable. the room was impeccably clean and the shower was excellent. I couldn't have asked for a better experience.

The hotel is located in close proximity to the red light district, which may make some guests feel unsafe or uncomfortable, especially at night. The bed in the room was not very comfortable, and there was no central air conditioning, only a fan was provided.
