As soon as I arrived at Baren Am Bundesplatz, I was impressed by the unassuming exterior and friendly reception staff. the modern rooms were spacious, spotlessly clean, and equipped with lovely bathrooms. I especially enjoyed the convenient coffee machine and the tasty coffee it provided. the breakfast buffet was excellent, and the staff went out of their way to assist guests. the hotel's location was perfect for exploring the city, and the free passes for public transport made it even easier. it was a fantastic stay, and I will definitely be returning.

We loved our stay at Hotel Bären! The staff was incredibly friendly and went out of their way to make us feel welcome. The location was perfect, within walking distance of the train station and all the sights in town. The rooms were clean and the beds were super comfy. The little touches like homemade bread, free drinks, and marmalade at checkout made our stay extra special.

We felt so comfortable during our stay at Hotel Bären, we have no complaints at all.

Great location in the heart of the city, surrounded by historic sites, restaurants, and public transportation. Close proximity to a supermarket for convenience. Friendly and helpful staff provided loaner adapters for the three-prong outlets, which were larger than usual. The hotel rooms were clean and comfortable, and the breakfast offered a good selection of continental foods.

The hotel is currently undergoing renovations, which may cause noise during the day. The lack of a hotel parking lot resulted in expensive external parking fees.

The hotel is ideally located in the heart of the Old Town, just a short stroll from the train station. With its prime location, we were able to easily explore all the amazing sights of the city on foot. The rooms were spacious and clean, with comfortable beds and modern amenities. The staff provided exceptional service, going above and beyond to make our stay memorable. The breakfast offered a wide variety of delicious options, including fresh breads and fruits. the hotel had an exercise room for our convenience.

While the hotel had many positive aspects, there were a few drawbacks. our room lacked air conditioning, which could have been uncomfortable during a hot summer.

We wanted a hotel close to Bern's train station and found Hotel Baren Am Bundesplatz to be the perfect choice for us. The location was excellent, just a short walk from the station and the main central squares. The room we stayed in was bright and attractively decorated, with all the necessary facilities including a fridge, safe, and ample storage space. The beds were comfortable, ensuring a good night's sleep. We also appreciated the multiple pillow choices provided.

Our experience at Hotel Baren Am Bundesplatz was excellent. Despite a minor issue with our room initially, the hotel promptly sorted it out and provided us with a better option.

The hotel had two complementary facts offered during our city break which was a nice touch. We also appreciated the key location of the hotel as it allowed us to easily explore the city. the rooms were clean and comfortable, which made our stay enjoyable.

Our room, although newly reconstructed, had a strong smell from the paint and carpet glue. there was no reserved parking for guests, and it was inconvenient to have to find nearby public parking and pay for it in cash.

The hotel had a prime location, close to the main train station and several popular attractions. There were plenty of restaurants, bars, and shops in the surrounding area. The staff was extremely friendly and helpful, and I appreciated the complimentary hot drinks and ice cream. The room may have been small, but it was immaculately clean and cozy. The espresso in the room was a nice touch, and I loved that there was an extra orthopedic pillow in the wardrobe. The bathroom was also well-equipped.

Felt just like home, no request was too much trouble.

This place has an excellent location, close to everything in the city center. The service is top-notch with dry cleaning, laundry, and room amenities like ironing facilities, heating, and air conditioning. There's even a grocery shopping service and a tour desk to help with planning your itinerary. The staff, especially Nathalie at reception, gave us really good service. Plus, the rooms are equipped with a variety of facilities such as a television, electric kettle, and free toiletries.
