I recently stayed at this 2* gem for a few nights in the Breithorn room. The cozy room had a balcony with a stunning view of the Matterhorn. The bed was comfortable and the room was spotlessly clean. The friendly and helpful receptionists made our stay even better. I loved that the room had a fridge stocked with fresh milk for tea and coffee, as well as soft drinks, beer, and wine. The breakfast had a wide variety of options, including fresh fruits, cereals, eggs, and cold meats. The small bar downstairs was a nice touch, and we even received a free gift of homemade elderflower syrup upon check-out.

the hotel staff, all of whom were friendly and welcoming, made me feel right at home. the breakfast spread exceeded my expectations with a wide variety of options. the little libraries on each floor added a cute touch. My room had a cozy balcony with a breathtaking view of the Matterhorn. the mini fridge and coffee/tea station were perfect for morning or evening drinks. the shower had excellent water pressure and hot water. the bed was super comfy. the location was quiet yet conveniently close to restaurants and a short walk from the train station. Highly recommend!

Panoramic views of the Matterhorn: The breathtaking views of the Matterhorn from my room made me feel like I was in a scene straight out of a postcard. It was like having my own personal masterpiece framed right in front of me.

We loved the epic view of the Matterhorn from our bed, and the fancy interior and cozy breakfast area. The breakfast was delicious and the staff was very hospitable. The room was comfortable, with working heaters in the bathroom. We also had access to a sister hotel's spa and heated pool area. a great experience as low-budget travelers.

We booked a last-minute stay at Hotel Dufour Alpin and it exceeded our expectations! We were in Zermatt for a hiking trip and the hotel's location was perfect - just a short walk from everything we wanted to explore. The staff, especially Sara Maria, were friendly and helpful. The breakfast spread was amazing, with a variety of fresh cheeses, meats, and fruits. Our room, number 15, had a stunning view of the Matterhorn from the balcony and a unique bathroom setup. We thoroughly enjoyed our time here and would highly recommend this hotel.

my recent stay in zermatt was incredible, but my overnight stay at dufour alpin superior was even better. the spacious and clean room, with a large bathroom, was so comfortable. and the breakfast, served with views of the matterhorn, was absolutely amazing. the staff were friendly and multilingual. highly recommend!

The staff were friendly and efficient. The dining area, with its sun room style, was stunning. The breakfast had a wide variety of delicious food choices. The garden area with comfortable outdoor furniture was perfect for relaxing in the sunshine. The location was fantastic, close to ski bus, restaurants, and a supermarket. It was the perfect place to relax after a hike on the mountain.
