Convenient location near the train station and chairlifts, perfect for bike riders. Spacious and clean rooms with comfortable bedding and great views. Friendly and helpful staff, always willing to assist with directions and suggestions. Easy currency exchange at the hotel with good rates. Beautiful setting and plenty of hiking opportunities in the surrounding area.

Felt well taken care of, nothing was too much trouble.

The hotel is located in a quiet area, away from the busy main road of Grindelwald, ensuring a peaceful stay. The rooms, with a beautiful view through a big window, also have a small balcony facing Mt. Eiger, which adds to the overall charm. Another positive aspect is the breakfast, which is served with a beautiful mountain view and includes delicious muesli, just like how my Swiss friends would always serve me.

All aspects of my stay were more than satisfactory.

I was pleasantly surprised by my recent stay at Hotel Restaurant Alpina. The location was superb, just a short walk from the train station and offering a stunning mountain view from the balcony. The staff were friendly and helpful, always ready to provide information about the area. The room itself was well-kept and had a separate bathroom with a great shower. I especially enjoyed the food at the restaurant, which exceeded my expectations with its quality and friendly service. I had a wonderful experience and would definitely recommend this hotel.

This hotel is in a fantastic location, just steps away from the train station and a short walk from the city center. The room is spacious and has a lovely balcony with stunning views of the mountains. The staff is very friendly and helpful, providing useful travel information and advice. The breakfast is decent and the hotel offers an extensive TV program selection in many languages.

The room carpet needs attention.

We had a fantastic stay at Restaurant Alpina in a clean and cozy room. the staff was incredibly friendly and helpful, offering us bus maps and allowing us to borrow sleds for some fun in the snow. the rooms were spacious and comfortable, with a beautiful view of the mountains from our balcony. We also appreciated the convenience of being able to park our car behind the hotel. the breakfast, though not extensive, had delicious croissants and the wifi connection was seamless. it was a great experience, especially during our time of being sick with the flu.

During the easter weekend trip, I received two really nice compliments from the staff. They were always available and eager to give me tips of where to go in the nearby area. the hotel was situated in close proximity to the train station which was great for travelling further afield. Another advantage was the location of the hotel, which offered an incredible view of the mountains; I really enjoyed waking up to that view every day.

The downsides of this hotel far outweighed the positives. Breakfast was really basic and not at all filling;

The hotel's location is excellent, being just a short 5-7 minute walk from the train station. This made it convenient for us to explore the surrounding areas. The rooms at this hotel are clean, cosy, and spacious. We felt comfortable and at ease during our stay. The breakfast provided by the hotel was great, with plenty of choices available. We especially enjoyed the muesli, which was served in a traditional Swiss style.

The only downside we encountered was that the rooms were a little cooler than we would have liked, and there was no way to adjust the temperature to make it warmer.

This is my third stay at the hotel and every time has been consistently good. I love the convenient location near the train station and the stunning views of the Eiger from the terrace. the staff is always friendly and helpful. the recently updated rooms are a nice touch. the restaurant at Hotel Restaurant Alpina is also great.
