I was pleasantly surprised by my stay at a hotel in a small and quiet town. The location was convenient, only 5 minutes away from the railway and bus stations. The personal attention and good breakfast made my stay enjoyable. Additionally, I appreciated the option to check in with a card and the comfort of the bed. I would recommend this hotel for its value for money.

The parking was convenient. The check-in process was easy. The hotel's location was close to the train and bus stations. A gas station and MiniMart were conveniently located across the street.

We had a fantastic stay at Rubus! the bed was incredibly comfortable, and the entire hotel was spotlessly clean. the breakfast at the hotel's cafe/bistro was delicious and the server was friendly and helpful. We were impressed with the fast and free internet. Despite the hotel facing a busy street, the soundproof windows ensured a peaceful night's sleep. Another great feature was the flexible check-in, allowing us to easily arrive and settle in right away. the staff, from the restaurant to the cleaning ladies, were all welcoming and supportive. the convenient parking right in front of the hotel was a major plus, and the hotel's interior and exterior looked modern and well-maintained.

Not obvious to find

The parking area was convenient and the hotel looked updated. One advantage was the isolation of the windows which blocked out most of the outside noise.

Sadly, my unpleasant experience started with the check-in machine, which was not user-friendly. the room assigned was extremely small, and I had to sleep with closed windows due to the noisy street outside.

my recent stay in illnau-effretikon was a surprise! the hotel rubus was a hidden gem. the comfortable bed, spotless room, and tasty breakfast made my stay unforgettable. the check-in machine was a breeze and the location was perfect for exploring the charming town.
