The location of the hostel was excellent, right by the lake with stunning views. the village was quiet and offered a peaceful atmosphere. the staff at the hostel were friendly and welcoming, providing excellent service. Additionally, the fully equipped kitchen was a great advantage, allowing guests to cook their own meals.

There were a couple of inconveniences during my stay. the lack of options to reach the hostel, as the only means of transportation was a bus that ran infrequently after 6:30 pm.

I had a lovely stay at this lodge in the summer with a beautiful view of the lake. the highlight of my trip was the amazing view of Lake Brienz from my room, and I particularly enjoyed sitting on the small balcony and taking in the scenery. the staff at Lake Lodge were friendly and helpful, especially Bettina who provided great assistance during breakfast. the rooms were simple yet comfortable, and my kids loved the community and the nearby playground. Being close to the ferry station allowed us to easily enjoy a ferry ride on the lake. it was a great place to spend our vacation.

The food for breakfast could have been improved.

We had an amazing time at this beautiful hostel in a central location. the view from our room was excellent and we loved waking up to it every morning. the room itself was spacious and even had a tap inside for light washing up. the shared toilet was clean and the counter staff were very helpful with travel advice. the common area was great for meals, although it would be helpful to bring your own heating pots as they only have a kettle and microwave. There were also many places to walk to and explore around.
