Staying at Schloss Schadau - Swiss Historic was like stepping into a fairytale. The castle has been beautifully preserved and renovated, maintaining its charm and character. The staff, especially Roger, went above and beyond to make our visit truly unforgettable. The restaurant served excellent food, and the option of a late breakfast was a delightful touch. I highly recommend this hotel for a unique and enchanting experience.

As a couple, we loved the stunning view and the feeling of staying in a 250-year-old castle. The included breakfast, served on a silver platter with a variety of meats, cheeses, and fish, was delicious. The staff were friendly, English-speaking, and accommodating. The property was well-preserved and maintained, with modern plumbing fixtures. The location was excellent, just a short walk from the train station. We also appreciated the complimentary bottle of wine in our large and functional room. The hotel allowed us to use every corner for our wedding photo shoot, and the staff were incredibly kind and helpful.

During our Xmas stay, we enjoyed the fantastic view of the lake and mountains from our well-furnished and spacious room. Another key aspect we appreciated was the interesting history and restoration of the building, which we learned during the guided tour. the breakfast on the terrace was simply fantastic, and the elaborate staircase was a feast for the eyes.

The parking situation could have been better organized to ensure ease of parking. the interior styling of the castle was average and not as stylish as other Swiss historic hotels we have stayed at.
