hotel & lounge by hyve basel sbb exceeded my expectations during this a walk in evening. the newly refurbished double room on the ground floor was spacious and comfortable with a beautiful private bathroom. the staff were very professional yet personable, making me feel well taken care of.

No mirror in the bedroom or living room.

The 24-hour availability of tea and coffee in the restaurant was a nice touch. Plus, they allowed me to check in early, which was a bonus. I would highly recommend this hotel for its ideal location, friendly staff, and excellent amenities.

The reception staff were incredibly helpful, providing us with information about bus schedules and even helping us find medical information. The room itself was modern and up to date, with plenty of space and a comfortable bed. The bathroom facilities were excellent, and I particularly appreciated the ease of checking in and out and the option to leave our luggage. The breakfast was a real highlight, with a great selection served until 11am, and the hotel had a lovely courtyard with plants and vegetables. The location was also perfect, being close to the central rail station and yet still quiet and peaceful. it was a great stay and the staff really went above and beyond to make us feel welcome.
