I was pleasantly surprised by the staff at this charming hotel. They were incredibly friendly and welcoming, making me feel right at home from the moment I arrived. The location was also a highlight, with the Museum of Transport just a short walk away. It was the perfect place to explore and discover the fascinating world of transportation. The hotel even had bicycles available for rent, which made getting around even easier. With the beautiful garden and terrace, I felt like I was in my own little oasis. And to top it off, the hotel accepted the Swiss "Postcard" as payment, which was a unique and convenient touch.

One minor drawback of the hotel was its location on one of Luzern's busiest boulevards. Although the noise was manageable with closed windows, it might not be ideal for light sleepers.

We had a fantastic stay at this hotel. The cleanliness was impeccable, with new renovated rooms and suites that were tastefully done. The hotel facilities were excellent, including a lovely breakfast with many options and superb handling by the hosts. The location was perfect, as it was very close to the fantastic museum of Transport and had a beautiful view of the Alpes. We also appreciated the convenience of the bus stop right near the hotel and the stunning walk along the lake to Old Town.

Villa Maria provided us with a homely feeling and one of the cleanest accommodations we have ever experienced. the staff went above and beyond to help us and accommodate our requests. Although not centrally located, it was conveniently situated with a bus stop right at the front door, allowing for a quick 2-minute ride or a breathtaking 10-15 minute stroll into town.

However, we did have to deal with a bit of noise from the busy road outside. we would recommend this hotel for its value for money and its proximity to attractions and transportation.

The staff were incredibly friendly and helpful, providing us with a family train/bus pass for our entire stay. The bus stop was conveniently close and only took 10 minutes to reach the city center. The included breakfast had a good variety of options and the lounge and outdoor seating were great for relaxing. The facilities were basic but clean, and the affordability was a pleasant surprise in the expensive city. The owners were lovely and even allowed us a late check-out when our daughter got sick. Free Wi-Fi was a bonus.
