The hotel is in a prime location, making it easy to catch a taxi anywhere or explore nearby attractions like the 駁二藝術特區（Pier-2 Art Center） and 西子灣（Sizihwan）. The rooms are comfortable and offer great views of the river. The staff is attentive and quick to respond to any issues, like fixing a WiFi problem. The breakfast has a good selection and check-in and out process is efficient.

The pool area could use improvement in terms of cleanliness and privacy, as people walking by on the street can see into the pool area and it is not well-maintained.

We had an amazing stay at Ambassador Hotel. the location was perfect for exploring downtown Kaohsiung, with the riverfront just across the street. We loved the convenience of the tram stop being within walking distance, making it easy to visit tourist attractions. the hotel also had an excellent bakery on the first floor, allowing us to enjoy a delicious breakfast in our room. the service we received was exceptional, and we were impressed by the good selection of international TV stations available. a great choice for a comfortable and convenient stay.

I recently stayed at Ambassador Hotel in Kaohsiung for a short weekend getaway with a friend. The location was perfect, with easy access to the harbor and pier. The staff provided fantastic service and were incredibly helpful and friendly. The hotel was spotlessly clean and offered great value for money. We loved being able to grab snacks from the nearby convenience stores and enjoying a relaxing foot massage right next to the river. The spacious room and bathroom were a bonus, making our stay even more comfortable and enjoyable. I highly recommend Ambassador Hotel for a memorable and pleasant stay.

Great location next to Love River - perfect for morning/evening walks/runs. Room rate didn't include breakfast, but there's a 7-11 across the road with seating for a satisfying breakfast. Huge room! Friendly staff, especially the room cleaning staff.

This property had attentive staff who quickly solved our air con issue. The lobby staff were friendly, and the rooms were spotless and comfortable. The location was great, with Love River nearby for walks/runs and a 7-11 across the road for a good breakfast. The view from the 11th floor was amazing, especially during the light show and New Year's fireworks.

I had a great time at Ambassador Hotel! The location was perfect, close to the Love River and just a short walk to a great night market. The hotel itself was lovely, with a nice swimming pool and four different restaurants to choose from. The room was clean and had all the necessary toiletries. I especially liked that there were English channels on the TV. The bed sheets were of good quality and there were even two kinds of pillows to choose from. I had a nice experience and would definitely recommend this hotel.

ambassador hotel kaohsiung surpassed my expectations during this carnival stay. loved the riverside location, complimentary drink tickets for the amazing 20th floor lounge, and the delicious pineapple cake waiting in my room. great memories made with my family, just like when we stayed here when i was in school.

The hotel was exceptionally clean and had a stunning view. I stayed on a lower floor, which turned out to be a great choice as I had a perfect view of the river light show and even got to see the fireworks from my window on New Year's Eve. The staff were also excellent, very attentive and friendly.

The location. It wasn't within walking distance to where I wanted to go, but taxis were readily available.

This hotel exceeded my expectations in terms of luxury and comfort. the exclusive amenities such as the sauna and swimming pool were top-notch, and the room had stunning private facilities. the restaurant served delicious meals. Service was exceptional and staff were always there to provide assistance.

The only minor issue was that the room decor was a bit outdated. this did not affect my overall satisfaction with the stay.
