I had a great stay at the hotel. The staff were friendly and accommodating, and my fellow guests were polite. The breakfast on the second floor was fantastic, with a wide variety of choices from fresh fruit to breakfast meats and eggs. The family room was spacious and comfortable, and the service was excellent. The jacuzzi was fantastic, and despite being on the 10th floor facing the street, it was very quiet. The location was convenient, with a subway station just a short walk away. There were also several restaurants within a couple of blocks.

Our family room was more like a suite, very nice, and the beds were very comfortable. The daily breakfasts were great, with a selection of main dishes that changed each day. One morning we had steaks for breakfast, and another morning we had grilled salmon. The decor of the hotel may be dated, but it is absolutely unique and must be experienced. The big windows in the room opened up to a beautiful view. The staff was exceptional and the service at this hotel cannot be beat.

The highlight of my stay was the helpful and courteous night duty manager, Ms. Cheng, who went above and beyond to assist us with our needs. The hotel is lucky to have such a dedicated staff member.

The breakfast was delicious, with a buffet and a choice of one main course from the menu. The hotel had excellent facilities, including a gym, and the interior design was impressive with beautiful paintings and golden accents in the bathroom.

My family and I recently stayed at Evergreen Laurel Hotel for our visit to Taipei. We were there for a week and had an amazing experience. The staff was incredibly welcoming and helpful, both at the front desk and during breakfast. The room was spacious and perfect for our small children, with separate bedrooms and a living area. The beds were comfortable and the pillows provided great support for our heads and necks. We loved that snacks, fruits, and non-alcoholic drinks were included in the room price. The hotel even provided toiletries for our kids, including a toothbrush, toothpaste, shampoo, and bubble soap for their jacuzzi bath. Speaking of the bath, our 5-year-old son absolutely loved the jacuzzi feature. The breakfast buffet was delicious, and we especially enjoyed the beef steak from the menu. The room itself was soundproof and the windows were locked for safety. It was also spacious enough to fit a crib, and the hotel even provided a sterilizer for milk bottles. The gym had all the basic equipment we needed, and the hotel's interior design was beautiful, with light-filled rooms adorned with lovely paintings and special royal-golden elements in the bathroom decor. We've stayed in many hotels, but this experience was truly one of the best. We can't wait to stay at Evergreen Laurel Hotel again in the future!

We got great value for our money at Evergreen Laurel Hotel. The room was comfortable and spacious, perfect for our family of 4. The location was fantastic, with plenty of bars, shops, and public transport nearby. The staff were incredibly polite and helpful, especially the night duty manager who went above and beyond to assist us with our laundry.

The only improvement I would suggest for the breakfast menu is to extend the closing time to 10.30 am instead of 10.00 am.

I recently had a romantic escape in Taipei and stayed at a hotel near the main station. The staff were incredibly friendly and attentive, always willing to help. Check-in was a breeze and the room was small but cozy, perfect for a couple. The housekeeping staff did a great job keeping everything neat and tidy. Plus, there was a small park nearby where we could relax and enjoy some leisure time.

One downside was that some of the tables in the restaurant were dirty in the evenings and there were limited options available. Additionally, the "do not disturb" switch on the door didn't seem to work as we were still disturbed by housekeeping.
