The location of the hotel was perfect, with easy access to the largest station in the city. I was able to easily roll my suitcase from the station to the hotel, thanks to the elevator access. The common area was a great spot to relax and plan my sightseeing activities. The room was comfortable and clean, and the bed provided a good night's sleep.

As low-budget travelers, we loved the breakfast vouchers that allowed us to explore the delicious food in the neighborhood. The water filter with hot water function at Level 4 was a convenient and hygienic feature. The modern and chic interior design of the hostel was simple yet impressive. All staff members spoke English, were courteous, and helpful. We also enjoyed having a great coffee shop in the lobby area where we could relax without having to go elsewhere. The free walking tours and the free common area with cooking and reading space were a great addition to our stay.

I stayed at a hostel near the largest train station in the city. It was convenient for getting around and close to the airport train. The location was bustling with activity, with a 7-11 right below and many stores nearby. There was a common area but it was not very relaxing as families were also staying there. The hostel provided great services like laundry and water filler. The bed in my room was comfortable, and the bathrooms were clean and well-maintained.

One negative aspect was that the bags and storage lockers were located in the dorm room, causing potential noise and disturbance for sleeping guests.

As a solo traveler, I highly recommend Meander 1948 Hostel. The girls dorm was well-behaved, and I appreciated the clean bathroom and new interior design. The common area, especially the balcony, was amazing for chilling at night. The toiletries and slippers provided were uncommon for hostels, and I loved the warm seat in the common toilet. The spacious dorm room had great design features, like a bigger bed, individual storage, and curtains for privacy. the facilities were satisfying and well maintained.

Although my single room didn't have a window, it had all the necessary amenities like a private bathroom and air conditioning. The hostel also had a nice common area where I could relax. The complementary breakfast was decent and the coffee was good. The location is ideal, close to many attractions and public transportation. the staff was friendly and helpful.

Sadly, the bathroom was not cleaned properly, and there was no hot water in the shower. The room was also quite cramped and the noise level was a bit high especially at night.

I had such a great stay at this hotel in Taipei. the value for money was excellent - I really felt like I got my money's worth. Secondly, the attention to detail was amazing. From the reading lights and international sockets next to the bed to the large locker in the room for security, everything was meticulously thought out. Lastly, the location was fantastic. The hotel is situated in a lovely area of Taipei, close to the train station, making it convenient for exploring the city.
