The rooms at Guide Hotel Taichung Ziyou are very new and clean. The free tea on arrival and the nice amenities like the robot teabags were a nice touch. The staff were also very friendly and welcoming. The location is great if you come by train from the HSR station. There is also a nice park nearby. I had a great stay and would recommend this hotel.

Clean room, polite cleaner. Proactively promised to clean later. Small gift at check-in. Free drinks and snacks in lobby 24/7. Pleasant surprise, boutique hotel with outer space theme. Large, clean, comfortable room. Good location near park and Indonesian cafes. Helpful staff, spacious room. Free bottled water. 20-25 minutes from RMQ airport. World cup football on CTS TV. Kids enjoyed spacious room and nearby peaceful park. Generous breakfast and nice staff. Tempting stay.

The location was great - within a short walk to major tourist attractions and restaurants. Plus, the hotel offered free laundry service, which was a bonus.

The small rooms were a bit cramped for two people. The bathroom was not properly ventilated, causing a bit of a musty smell.
