norden ruder hostel in taitung surpassed expectations during my recent stay. the comfortable bed and helpful staff made for a perfect experience. the location was also great, adding to the overall satisfaction of my day tour.

I recently stayed at Norden Ruder Hostel for a few days and it was fantastic. The staff were incredibly friendly and helpful, especially since I couldn't speak any Chinese. The location was perfect, within walking distance of the town center, beach, and Forest Park. My room was clean, cozy, and modern with a comfortable bed and an amazing shower. The hostel had a great atmosphere with a lovely courtyard and plenty of seating areas. The included breakfast was delicious, offering a variety of local dishes to start the day.

Would recommend this hotel.

my recent stay in taitung was amazing but my stay at norden ruder hostel was even better. the staff went above and beyond to make me feel at home, and the hotel's unique design and bike-friendly amenities were a pleasant surprise. i loved the central location and the delicious local and organic breakfast options. everything was perfect.

The room was clean, cozy and well-maintained. the staff was friendly and helpful, creating a welcoming atmosphere. the location was convenient, with easy access to city downtown and the bus terminal.

The room was quite small, which may bother some guests. the limited breakfast choices and the same food options every day could be disappointing.

As young holiday goers, we loved the modern, minimalistic design of the rooms and the well-equipped kitchen. The hotel staff was friendly and spoke English fluently. The included breakfast was amazing, with organic and Taiwanese-style dishes. The hotel's proximity to Tinhua Music Village and a supermarket was very convenient.

Felt very cared for, no complaints whatsoever.

stayed at a lot of hostels in taitung but norden ruder exceeded my expectations. felt more like a hotel with a beautiful common area, complimentary breakfast, and great location. loved the modern rooms and friendly english-speaking staff. would definitely stay again.

noisy cleaning staff

During my recent trip to Taiwan, I had the chance to stay at a budget accommodation in Taitung over the Christmas holidays. the location was perfect, just a short walk to a lively street filled with cafes and bars. I liked that the hostel offered free bike rentals, which made it easy for me to explore the nearby area. they had a cozy lounge area where I could relax and read a book.

One of the worst aspects of my stay was the lack of soundproofing. I could hear outside noise, including airplanes flying overhead.

The location of the hostel is convenient as it is within walking distance to Taitung City, making it easy to explore the city and visit attractions. It is also close to the night market, allowing guests to indulge in local cuisine and experience the vibrant atmosphere. The rooms are clean and comfortable, with comfortable mattresses and pillows. The shower is also of good quality, ensuring a pleasant bathing experience. The hostel provides a common area with a reading corner and a well-equipped kitchen, adding to the convenience for guests. the friendly and helpful staff enhance the overall experience.

There is no TV available in the rooms which may be disappointing for some guests.

I had a fantastic stay at a centrally located hostel in Taitung City. Norden Ruder provided a clean and modern minimalist room, complete with a private ensuite bathroom. the staff was extremely helpful and friendly, making my experience even better. I appreciated the convenience of having access to washing machines and dryers, as well as a comfortable space downstairs to relax and hang out. I also loved that the hostel is bike-friendly, making it easy to explore the city. a highly recommended place to stay in Taitung City!

The small double room was amazing with great air conditioning, a clean bathroom, and space for luggage. The shared spaces were beautifully decorated, with plenty of seating and tables. The free water dispensers on every floor were a nice touch. The breakfast included a voucher that could be used at local establishments, which worked out well.

Nothing, everything was great.

The hotel had a washer/dryer onsite, which was very convenient for doing laundry during my stay. The deluxe room was spacious, clean, and comfortable, making it a great place to relax after a long day of exploring. Another advantage was that each floor had a hot/cold filtered water tap, so I always had access to refreshing drinks. The staff were also young and friendly, and they spoke English fluently, making communication easy.

That there was no television or phone in the room, which may be an issue for some guests. finding parking around the property was difficult, and residents had to pay extra for a parking space in a narrow alley.

Brand new, private rooms with comfy bed and powerful AC. Cool, modern design in atrium. Helpful staff, especially if you speak Mandarin. Great location near the beach and local attractions.
