The staff at Riu Palace Zanzibar went above and beyond to make us feel special. They were attentive, friendly, and really made an effort to ensure we had a wonderful stay. The beach was absolutely stunning with its turquoise water and the facilities were of the highest standard. Our room had a beautiful sea view and a spacious balcony where we could relax and enjoy the view. The bed was incredibly comfortable and the bathroom amenities were a nice touch. The food at the resort was delicious, with a good selection of dishes made using local produce. We especially enjoyed the breakfast and New Year's Eve dinner. The resort itself was well-maintained, with manicured grounds and a clean beach. Despite a few minor drawbacks, such as the airport experience and some issues with the room photographs, overall we had an amazing time at Riu Palace Zanzibar. We highly recommend this hotel for a special and memorable vacation.

The location of the hotel is ideal, as it is close to the turtle sanctuary and in the village of Nungwi. The staff, especially Mr Narayan, Emmanuel, Ismail, Anna, and Steven in the main restaurant. The room, particularly the Beach Villa, was spacious and clean, with stunning views of the ocean and a private plunge pool. The hotel offered a variety of activities such as water volleyball, water polo, and water aerobics, ensuring there was always something fun to do.

The hot breakfast choices for vegetarians could have been more varied.

As trekkers and a group of friends, we loved the variety of water sports, including windsurfing, offered at the resort. The beach was breathtaking, and the all-inclusive service provided excellent value for money. The quantity and variety of food available were considerable, and the friendly staff made us feel welcome throughout our stay. The magical sunsets and great snorkeling added to the overall experience. The resort also had an excellent pianist/singer and other entertainment options to keep us entertained. We especially enjoyed the three different vegetarian curries and other vegetarian food options at every meal, along with plenty of meat options. Champagne at breakfast time and awesome cocktails were a delightful touch for our group.

I recently stayed at Riu Palace Zanzibar for a relaxing beach getaway. The property was stunning, with beautifully maintained gardens and a pristine beach. The staff were incredibly kind and attentive, making sure I had everything I needed. The food at the Greek restaurant was delicious, especially the fresh fish. I also enjoyed the scuba diving course offered by the hotel's dive center. my stay was fantastic and I would highly recommend this hotel.

As adventure travelers, we loved the variety of activities and amenities available at Riu Palace. The gym, spa, beach, and three pools catered to everyone's preferences. The staff was incredibly friendly and made a genuine effort to remember our names and make us feel welcome. The food was excellent, with a buffet that changed daily and even a delicious margarita pizza. The beach was stunning, and the overall atmosphere made it a great place to stay.

The hotel's location right on the beach offered breathtaking views of the ocean from the restaurant, pool, and main bar. The staff was incredibly friendly and helpful throughout my stay. The variety of food and drinks available was impressive, and the bar staff were happy to make any cocktail I requested. The hotel also had a beautiful swimming pool, gym/spa area, and organized various activities for guests. The room I stayed in, a junior suite, was spacious and beautifully decorated. I had an amazing time and would highly recommend this hotel.
