During our Christmas stay, we had a great time at this lodge. the food was delicious and diverse, offering a good variety. the staff was friendly and accommodating, making us feel welcome. the location was also ideal, and we were able to visit the nearby national park. we enjoyed the fireplace in our room, which kept us cozy during the chilly evenings.

The swimming pool was empty and the area around it did not match the photos on the website. the gate of the hotel looked subpar, and there was no sign outside to indicate the location.

The hotel itself is situated on the slope of a mountain, providing breathtaking views from the rooms. The staff are incredibly helpful and kind, making our stay even more enjoyable. The rooms are of great standard, with a well-working shower and comfortable beds. The pool and garden area are immaculate and provide a tranquil space to relax and soak up the sun. The dining facilities, including the restaurant and bar, are top-notch, offering a variety of delicious food. We were impressed with the free Wi-Fi and free parking, as well as the additional services such as room service and tours/ticket assistance.

The chefs really know what they're doing in the kitchen. We also appreciated the attentive service from the staff, who always made sure we had everything we needed. The lodge itself is stunning, with immaculate grounds and a beautiful pool area. We couldn't have asked for a better place to relax and unwind. we had a fantastic experience and would highly recommend Karatu Tented Lodge to anyone looking for a memorable stay.
