The hostel's location was excellent, situated right across from a famous landmark. Not only did this offer convenience, but it also made me feel safer as it was on a main street. Additionally, the beds were spacious and comfortable, not the typical bunk style, which meant I wasn't constantly being woken up by my dormmates.

Upon arrival, I was taken aback by the additional taxes I was instructed to pay, which nearly doubled the price I had initially booked for. Furthermore, the hostel lacked basic facilities such as a kitchen or cooking area, which meant I had to rely on nearby restaurants and cafes for meals.

The staff was very helpful and provided great information about tours and activities. the air conditioning in the room was a lifesaver in the hot weather. the location was fantastic, close to key attractions and convenient for exploring the area.

The lockers in the room were not working as advertised on the website, which was a bit disappointing. Additionally, there was some confusion at check-in and the receptionist seemed unprepared, causing unnecessary stress.

There was nothing I didn't like.

The cleanliness has improved, staff is friendly and facilities are better. Always someone cleaning washrooms. Superb location in the middle of Stone Town. Beds in shared dormitories are excellent, with lockers and great water pressure. Airport transfer was met with a sign for the hotel.

I had a great stay in this centrally located hostel. It was convenient to be close to the main attractions in town, as well as the bars and the boats for island tours. Despite some negative reviews, my room was comfortable and clean, with a good AC. The staff was helpful and allowed me to leave my backpack after checkout. The hostel also provided free towels, which was a nice touch.

The price is affordable, and the hostel has nice air conditioning. The staff is friendly and helpful, and they even allowed me to store my luggage after check-out. As vegetarians and vegans, we appreciated the facilities that catered to our dietary needs.
