The courtyard with its beautiful garden and small swimming pool is picturesque. The breakfast spread is above average, especially the Indian section. The staff is friendly and the WiFi is fast. the hotel offers great value for money.

We had a fantastic stay at Protea! the room was beautifully decorated with a cozy wood decor that created a warm and intimate atmosphere. the bathroom was also impressive, and we loved the spaciousness. the hotel breakfast and restaurant were simply the best in town. the mix of Tanzanian and Continental food was amazing, and we highly recommend trying their valuable lobster for dinner. the hotel also had a beautiful garden surrounding the swimming pool, which added to the peaceful ambiance. the staff were incredibly friendly and always willing to assist us. We also appreciated the safe room lock, perfect for business travelers leaving their luggage at the hotel. the location was excellent for business meetings, just be mindful of the traffic during peak hours. the wifi was reliable, with no power breaks. This hotel is a must for any business traveler looking for a comfortable and convenient stay.

The hotel facilities were excellent, with a beautiful courtyard and a clean pool. The staff were extremely friendly and helpful, and they spoke excellent English. The breakfast spread was impressive, with a good variety of options including fruits, cereals, eggs. The cleanliness of the rooms was impeccable, with well-maintained sheets and towels.

The rooms were very comfortable and had a nice authentic feel. the WiFi was good throughout the hotel. the breakfast spread was extensive, and they even served snacks and drinks in the afternoon, which was a nice touch. the dinner from the restaurant was delicious and reasonably priced. the staff were all very helpful and friendly, making our stay enjoyable. We would definitely stay again.

One minor issue was that the lighting in the room was poor, making it difficult to read. the mattress pad also slid under the unfitted sheet, which was a bit annoying.

The hotel is conveniently located next to downtown and a short distance from cosmopolitan Oyster Bay. Guests can enjoy delicious seafood at the Langi Langi restaurant on-site. The rooms are comfortable and feature bright lighting, good showers, and well-maintained furniture. The courtyard area and verandah offer a peaceful and restful atmosphere. The restaurant serves excellent meals, including local dishes, and the breakfast is also of high quality.
