We stayed at Protea Hotel in Zanzibar for a week-long family vacation. The hotel's beachfront location was perfect, with a nice pool for the kids when they needed a break from the salty water. They provided beach chairs with umbrellas, although it could get crowded during weekends. The restaurant had a diverse menu for dinner, and the breakfast was decent. The staff was friendly and accommodating, and they even connected us with an amazing guide for our excursions. a great place to stay!

We had a fantastic stay at this hotel. The cleanliness of the rooms was top-notch, and the hotel facilities were outstanding. The hotel is situated in a big Botanic garden, very close to the ocean, which provided a beautiful and serene setting. The location is ideal, as it is near the airport, on the beach, and close to Stonetown. The breakfast served at the hotel was excellent, with a variety of options to choose from. The staff were friendly and attentive, making our stay even more enjoyable.

The kitchen is accommodating to dietary needs and serves delicious food. The hotel provides a shuttle service to nearby Stone Town, making it convenient for guests to explore the area.

The spa at the hotel lacks professionalization and proper supplies.

This hotel is a hidden gem nestled within a botanical garden right on the beach. The location is perfect, with shady gardens and direct access to the beach. The rooms are well-equipped and we loved the sea-view we got on a promotional rate. The staff were incredibly friendly and accommodating, making our stay even more enjoyable. The breakfast was delicious, with freshly prepared eggs that were a great start to the day.

The staff at this hotel were exceptional, providing the best customer service and genuine friendliness we've ever encountered. The restaurant offered a great variety of local and international cuisines, and the breakfast spread was satisfying. Additionally, the rooms were well-equipped and comfortable, with a beautiful view of the beach and close proximity to the bar.

The only downside was that orders from the restaurant took a bit too long. However, the quality of the food made up for it.
