Can honestly say there wasn't anything not to like.

The value for money at Shooting Star Boutique was excellent - beautiful rooms with thoughtful amenities like kangas and beach baskets. The location was perfect, nestled between two resorts on a quieter end of the beach. The staff treated us like family and went above and beyond, even administering first aid when needed.

The hotel breakfast menu could have had more variety, but the fast service and delicious food made up for it.

Our stay at the Shooting Star Lodge was absolutely amazing! The value for money was great, the room was spacious and well-kept, and we enjoyed a beautiful beach view from our small veranda. The staff treated us like family and went above and beyond to make us feel relaxed and taken care of. The location was perfect, with a secluded and gorgeous beach right at our doorstep.

We had an amazing stay at this hotel! The view of the Indian Ocean from the pool was breathtaking. The property had a charming boutique feel, with beautiful greenery and a cute atmosphere. We enjoyed the privacy and relaxation that this hotel offered, as it was smaller and less crowded than the larger resorts on the beach. The staff went above and beyond to make us feel at home, and the food at the restaurant was fresh and delicious. We appreciated the small gestures, like fresh flowers on the bed and packed breakfasts for our early departure. we loved our experience and would highly recommend this hotel to everyone!

It was situated right by the beautiful white sand beach, offering stunning views of the Indian Ocean. the property itself was well-maintained and had a boutique feel to it, making it feel more private and exclusive. Additionally, the staff at the hotel were amazing. They were friendly, attentive, and went above and beyond to make sure we had a great stay. They even surprised us with small gestures like fresh flowers on the bed and packed breakfast when we had to leave early in the morning.

The hotel had stunning views of the ocean and a beautiful infinity pool. the staff were friendly and attentive, always making me feel welcome and going out of their way to ensure my comfort. the meals at the restaurant were fresh and delicious, with a varied menu that changed daily.

The hotel lacked a bit of character and ambiance, with its predominantly white adobe design. Additionally, the staff could be a bit too attentive at times, constantly checking in on me during my stay.

I recently stayed at Shooting Star in Zanzibar for 12 days. It was a beautiful experience. The hotel is situated at the very end of the beach, offering a peaceful escape from the busy Kiwengwa beach. The infinity pool and view from it were the best features, providing a unique and breathtaking experience. The breakfast was delicious, the staff was welcoming and helpful, and the hotel was in close proximity to local restaurants and activities. I would highly recommend having dinner at Amour restaurant nearby - it's a must-try!

I had an incredible stay at this hotel. The staff were amazing - always quick to fulfill any request and they made an effort to know me by name, which made me feel like part of the family. The hotel is small and never feels crowded, with only 17 rooms in total. The location is perfect, situated at one end of a stunning white sand beach, providing a peaceful and personal atmosphere. The two bedroom villa I stayed in was spacious, private, and had its own swimming pool and rooftop gazebo. The tours organized by the hotel were fantastic, especially the private snorkeling trip which ended with a seafood BBQ on the beach. It was the best seafood meal I've ever had!
