I recently stayed at Spice Palace for a week-long vacation. The hotel staff was super friendly and helpful throughout our stay. The location is perfect, just a short walk from the beach and right in the city center. We loved the rooftop bar, where we enjoyed delicious food and drinks multiple times. The bar staff was also very kind and attentive. The hotel's tour guide, Ramadan, was a blessing - he took us everywhere and ensured we had a great experience. The receptionist and room service staff were also fantastic, accommodating my specific dietary needs.

The breakfast is also delicious, with a fantastic selection of fresh fruits, eggs made to order, and cereal.

The slight noise issue, especially on Tuesdays when there seems to be a party nearby.

I loved the central location of this hotel in Stone Town and the little touches that made me feel special, like the cookies on the bed. The rooftop terrace had amazing views and the staff, especially Martha, were very kind and helpful. I would definitely stay here again.

Had an amazing New Year's stay! the complimentary drinks and snacks provided in the room were a great surprise. the location is perfect for exploring the town, with many attractions and restaurants nearby. Our room was spacious, and the rooftop terrace was the best spot to enjoy the beautiful view.

The Wi-Fi connection was slow, and we had to call reception for maintenance. the bathroom smell was not pleasant, and the cleaning chemicals were too strong.
