We had the privilege of staying at The Island - Pongwe Lodge and it was absolutely amazing. The hosts, Margo and Amine, made us feel like old friends and went above and beyond to ensure our stay was special. They even arranged a snorkeling trip where we swam with dolphins! The staff were friendly and competent, and the food at the restaurant was fresh and delicious. The lodge had a boutique feel, surrounded by nature and with little touches to make our stay extra special. we highly recommend this hotel for a memorable and enjoyable experience.

Spent Christmas at this hotel and enjoyed the stunning views and beautiful rooms. the staff were friendly and welcoming, and the location was perfect for a private getaway. the restaurant offered delicious food, and the pool was a great spot to cool off in the warm weather.

The warm sea water and abundance of seaweed made for a less than perfect swimming experience. Plus, the cocktails at the restaurant were lacking in quality and could use some improvement.

Location is incredible, completely disconnected from the world, close to the ocean. Intimate hotel with comfortable rooms and great service. Food is especially good for seafood lovers. Fantastic experience, can't wait to return!
