The building itself was stunning, with its thick walls and high ceilings. It had a lot of history and gave off an authentic charm. the rooftop restaurant offered amazing views of the city, making it a great place to relax and enjoy a meal.

The facilities were quite basic and lacked essential amenities. There was no room safe, hairdryer, kettle, or fridge.

As trekkers and a group of friends, we loved the unique feel of the hotel, with its restored old architecture and art. The staff, who are friendly locals, were always happy to help us with their knowledge of Stonetown. The security guard even walked us to and from the bank. The cooks prepared some of the best food we've had in Tanzania. We will definitely be returning to stay again.

I recently had a wonderful stay at a hotel in Stone Town, Zanzibar. The hotel offered great value for money, with affordable prices and attention to detail. The location was perfect for exploring the city's historical sites, although I recommend being cautious at night in the alleys. The staff were friendly and provided excellent service, ensuring that all basic amenities were well taken care of. The rooms, although without air-conditioning, had a charming traditional style and some even had balconies. I especially enjoyed the character of the hotel and the delicious breakfast served each morning.
