I had the most incredible food at Zanzibar Retreat - possibly the best I've ever had! The locals and expats all know about it, so don't waste your time and money elsewhere. The hotel has a small B&B vibe with beautifully decorated rooms. I stayed in room number 10 and the balcony had an amazing sea view. The facilities were perfect, with a wonderful pool, lounge chairs, and a cozy reading area. The hotel is also eco-friendly and works closely with the community. It's clear that a lot of love and care has been put into this place. I can't wait to come back!

I recently stayed at Zanzibar Retreat for a few days and it was absolutely amazing. The house itself was beautifully decorated with wooden carved furniture, creating a warm and cozy atmosphere. The swimming pool was large and the perfect place to relax. The restaurant was fantastic, serving delicious and varied breakfast options. The beach right outside the hotel was big and clean, providing a peaceful and tranquil setting. The host and staff were incredibly friendly and accommodating, and the presence of cats added an extra touch of charm to this wonderful retreat. I miss this place already!

We recently visited a small resort in Zanzibar and we had an amazing time. The friendly and helpful staff made us feel right at home. The beach was stunning and perfect for swimming and snorkeling. We also enjoyed the refreshing pool and the tasty food offered at the resort. the clean and comfortable rooms were a great plus. We highly recommend this resort to anyone visiting the area.

Although our stay was mostly positive, we did encounter some language barriers with some of the staff. However, they were always friendly and did their best to understand and cater to our needs.

The hotel grounds were well-maintained with lovely gardens and a peaceful pool area. I loved how close the rooms were to the pool, making it convenient to take a refreshing dip whenever I wanted. The rooms themselves were beautifully decorated, with a traditional Zanzibar hardwood style and furniture. It felt like a true retreat, tucked away in its own private oasis.

Relaxing and beautiful: Our Easter holiday at this hotel was simply wonderful. The setting was perfect for a relaxing getaway, with stunning ocean views and a peaceful terrace to enjoy. It truly felt like a taste of paradise.

Limited water in the room: While our stay was mostly perfect, we did find the small bottles of water provided in the room to be insufficient. It would have been preferable to have more drinking water available each day.
