We stayed at a great hostel for nearly two weeks. The location was perfect, close to the old city and a lively food market at night. The staff were incredibly friendly and helpful, offering great recommendations and creating a welcoming atmosphere. The facilities were good, with free tea, coffee, and biscuits available. The hostel had a relaxed vibe, with a spacious outdoor area to socialize with other guests. And let's not forget the adorable resident cats! Definitely the best hostel we've stayed at in the area.

I recently stayed at At Box for a few nights during my trip to Chiang Mai. The staff here were absolutely amazing! They were always available to help and chat, making me feel welcome and comfortable. The rooms were spacious and had two bathrooms each, equipped with toilets and showers. I really appreciated the lockers and locks provided, ensuring the safety of my belongings. The common areas were great for meeting fellow travelers, and the location was perfect with a night food market nearby and the North Gate just minutes away.

I would highly recommend this hotel.

Lack of privacy in the rooms. The rooms were built out of shipping containers, which may seem unique, but they lacked privacy.

had another great stay in chiang mai and was pleasantly surprised by the awesome experience at box hostel. the location was perfect, in a quiet street yet close to the city center. the staff were incredibly friendly and helpful, and the facilities were top-notch, especially the small swimming pool and lovely kitchen. definitely a cool place to meet other travellers and create good vibes.

Bathroom cleanliness can be improved.

The location of the hostel is great, with many cafes, a 7-11, a jazz club, and a street food market just around the corner. It is also conveniently located near the north gate, making it easy to explore the city. The rooms are comfortable, especially the 4-bed dorm, and the staff is friendly and helpful, always willing to assist guests with any issues they may have.

It would be nice if the hostel offered a small breakfast option like toast for guests.

The location of the hostel is convenient, being close to one of the gates to the old town and offering a peaceful atmosphere away from the main road. The innovative concept of rooms made out of shipping containers provides a unique and comfortable experience. the hostel offers various facilities such as a jacuzzi, pool table, and computer for guests' enjoyment.

One downside is that the dorm rooms can be a bit cramped, which may not suit everyone's preference for space.

During my whole trip in Southeast Asia, I came across many hostels, but the Box hostel stood out the most. We had an amazing experience staying there. the location was convenient, and they even provided free bikes which were a great way to explore the area. the staff, particularly a lady who worked in the office, was absolutely incredible. She went above and beyond to make sure we had a perfect stay. Plus, her mom had a cute puppy that she took care of. the hostel was also exceptionally clean, making our stay even more comfortable.

The luggage storage space allowed us to store our bags securely before check-in and after check-out, giving us more time to enjoy the city without dragging our bags around. it made our stay much more convenient and enjoyable.

In my wife's opinion, it would have been great if the hostel had a small playground or play area for children. Our kids wished there was a designated space where they could play and interact with other children.
