Our recent stay at the lake view room with pool at Intercontinental Khao Yai Resort was simply splendid! The room was beautifully decorated with a train theme, and every detail was thoughtfully designed, from the light switches to the luggage racks. The layout of the room was user-friendly, and we especially loved the veranda with its refreshing ceiling fan. The private pool with jacuzzi offered privacy and a lovely view of the swan lake, creating a truly tranquil experience day and night. The property itself was well-maintained and the landscaping was meticulously manicured. The staff at the hotel were incredibly caring and warm, making our stay even more enjoyable. Special thanks to Khun Som at the reception for arranging various reservations, Khun Bank for taking care of our transportation, and Khun Noey and Khun Yak for their exceptional service at Somying Kitchen, where we had our meals.

The food options at the resort did not meet the high standards expected of a hotel of this caliber. The breakfast menu remained the same for three consecutive mornings, and the quality of the Thai food at dinner was below average.

The bedding was spacious, and the private pool was perfect for a relaxing day. the staff was warm and caring, taking care of our needs and comforts. the room's train theme suggests an enjoyable experience for the whole family, with intricate details like light switches, side panels, and luggage racks.

The food fell short of my expectations, with the same breakfast menu for three mornings. They were overcharging for local still water, which was a turn-off.

the garden area, with its well, manicured landscaping, was a beautiful oasis to relax in. the spa centre helped me unwind with a full body massage, while the outdoor swimming pool provided a refreshing dip. the restaurant offered a variety of dishes, including special diet menus, and in, room breakfast was a convenient and tasty option.

I found it to be quite steep at 280B before tax and service.
