montalay beach resort - sha plus exceeded our expectations during our honeymoon in koh tao. the staff are lovely, the food is exceptional, and the resort is brilliant and clean. the coral was still beautiful in november and we saw so many stunning fish. we also loved star gazing on the beach at night.

I had a great stay at a beachfront hotel in Koh Tao. the room was modern and well-furnished, with a nice external area surrounded by greenery. the beach was fantastic for snorkeling, and I even saw sharks during my first swim! the staff, especially one guy, were very helpful and dedicated to making guests happy. the breakfast had a good variety of choices, and the location was perfect for exploring the east side of the island.

Bad road connection with limited shuttle service and unreliable taxis, which increased the cost of transportation. the hotel didn't provide the promised discount for diving, and the air conditioning had an extra charge.

Perfect for a relaxing island getaway. the beachfront is breathtaking and great for swimming and snorkeling. the food offered in the restaurant is fresh and delicious. the staff is friendly and accommodating. They went out of their way to make sure my stay was comfortable.

The property is a bit secluded, so if you're looking to explore the island, it may be challenging without a vehicle. Oh, and the Wi-Fi connection was spotty at times.

The hotel had an awesome water sports centre where we could go snorkelling and try out scuba diving. The snorkelling by the beach was mind-blowing, we saw so many cool fish and coral reefs. And guess what? ! They even had a kids' playroom with loads of cool games and toys! We had a blast!

The only thing we wished for was a livelier nightlife scene. It would've been awesome if the hotel had a cool party area or a beach bar where we could hang out and have some fun with other young people.
