I recently stayed at a hidden gem called Ninaguesthouse for a few nights. It's a clean, modern and quiet guest house just a short walk from the bustling Khao San Road. The staff here are wonderful, helpful, and very courteous. The rooms may be a bit smaller than others in the area, but it wasn't an issue for us. The door locks are new and electronically controlled, adding an extra level of security. We were impressed by the cleanliness, comfortable bedding, and the kind and helpful staff. The location is perfect, with easy access to Khao San Road, the Royal Palace, and major temples. Additionally, we were able to leave our luggage at the hotel after checking out, and even had the opportunity to take a shower before our late evening flight. I would definitely stay here again when passing through this part of town.
