I recently stayed at a charming hotel in Koh Samui that exceeded my expectations. The pool and common areas were exactly as shown in the pictures and created the perfect atmosphere for relaxation. The staff at the hotel were incredibly friendly and helpful, making me feel welcome throughout my stay. The location of the hotel, while far from the main beaches, provided a peaceful getaway from the busy tourist areas. I also appreciated the comfortable and clean rooms, especially the comfortable bed which was the most cozy I've had on my travels so far. The facilities were top-notch and well-maintained, ensuring a pleasant experience for all guests. Plus, the hotel had a little coffee shop out front with a diverse menu and great value for money. I would definitely recommend this hotel for a comfortable and enjoyable stay in Koh Samui.

Samui Backpacker provided everything we needed and more. the hosts, Michael and Ann, were great and gave us excellent recommendations for places to eat and things to see. the atmosphere was perfect for meeting other travelers, and we felt comfortable and welcomed during our stay. the room was clean and comfortable, with a nice bathroom and good air conditioning. We also enjoyed the fun activities like ping pong and the refreshing pool. a fantastic experience thanks to Michael and Ann!

A Hidden Gem in Koh Samui!

I had the most amazing experience at this hostel! From the moment I arrived, I was blown away by the cleanliness and modern design of the rooms. The showers had hot water, which was a definite plus for me. The owner of the hostel went above and beyond to ensure that every guest felt included and had a positive experience. The location was perfect too, right across the road from the speed boat to Koh Phagnan for the full moon party. I absolutely loved my stay at Samui Backpacker and I can't wait to return!

Samui Backpacker Hotel was a great find! The value for money was excellent, with affordable prices for a room with its own bathroom. The hotel had great facilities, including a swimming pool and a pool table, which made for a fun and relaxing stay. The staff were helpful and friendly, especially the administrators and the British guy working at the bar. The location was perfect, as it was near some fantastic restaurants and almost directly across the road from Big Buddha pier, making it convenient for snorkeling trips.

The air conditioning in the rooms is set at a very low temperature and cannot be adjusted, making it uncomfortable for some guests who prefer a warmer room.

For the price, faultless quality with comfy rooms, clean facilities, and brilliant air con. Enjoyed swimming pool, sunbathing area, pool table, and washing machine. Staff is nice and scooter rental available. Best place to chill out and meet others!

We had a great stay here! The hotel had a nice swimming pool, pool table, and table tennis, which kept us entertained. The staff were very helpful and friendly, even going above and beyond by taking care of all the details when we had to relocate to another area. The location was convenient, as it was close to the big Buddha pier for the ferry to Ko Pha Ngan. The room was clean and comfortable, and the AC worked great.

I loved coming back to a comfortable and well-maintained space after a long day of activities. Thirdly, the staff were incredibly friendly and helpful. They went out of their way to ensure that my stay was enjoyable and that I had everything I needed. Lastly, I appreciated the fact that the rooms were cleaned daily at around 1pm, making it convenient for me to relax and not worry about tidying up.

The Christmas festivities were so much fun at this hostel. the staff organized a complimentary dinner and drinks, which was a great surprise. its location close to the airport was very convenient for us. We especially enjoyed playing pool and ping-pong in the common area.

The curtains around our bed were quite thin, which made it hard to sleep in during the day. while the location was convenient for the airport, it was a bit far from other parts of the island, so we had to rent a bike or take public transportation to get to the main attractions.

had an amazing time at this hotel! the staff were super helpful and organized a bbq and took us to a party in chaweng. beds were comfy and bathroom was clean. loved the pool and games like darts and foosball. definitely exceeded my expectations!

One slight issue, the 10 bed dorm had twice as many beds.
