I recently stayed at Tan Hostel X Cafe in Ao Nang for a few days and it was fantastic. The rooms were clean and comfortable, with all the necessary facilities including a microwave and a hairdryer. The dorms were spacious and had bed curtains for added privacy. I also loved the common area and cafe, which were perfect for relaxing and meeting fellow travelers. The hostel's proximity to the beach, night market, and other amenities was a definite plus. It was also nice to have access to a kitchen and drinking water refills. I had a great experience and would definitely stay here again.

the staff were incredibly helpful, polite, and friendly. the hostel itself was clean and modern, with a comfortable 8 bunk room that felt very private. the facilities were spotlessly clean and the best looking in Ao Nang. One of the highlights of my stay was the delicious breakfast provided every morning, which was probably the best I've had in any hostel. the location of the hostel was also great, with shops, restaurants, and the beach all within walking distance. I had a wonderful time at Tan Hostel X Cafe and would highly recommend it to other travelers.

The included breakfast was delicious, offering a choice of eggs or a muesli and fruit bowl, along with fresh coffee. the beds were comfy and had curtains for added privacy. the hostel also had excellent security measures in place, making me feel safe as a solo traveler. the hostel had a great location, with a food market just across the street and a 7/11 next door.

One downside of the hostel is that it is located on a main road, so there was some road noise. There was also building work going on across the road during the day, which could be quite loud.

The attached cafe, when open, serves amazing coffee.

The bunk bed steps were a bit awkward to climb up.

The breakfast provided was delicious, and the bathroom was clean with plenty of showers available. The dorm beds were cozy, and I appreciated the privacy provided by the curtains. The hostel also had a café where you could relax, enjoy a coffee or brunch, and a shared kitchen for guests to use. The staff were friendly and accommodating, allowing me to store my backpack and even come back for a shower after a late climbing lesson. If I return to Ao Nang, I would definitely stay at Tan Hostel X Cafe again and recommend it to my friends. Just remember to bring your own bottle for the refillable water.
