I keep coming back for holiday. Helpful staff guided me to good exchange rates. Free Wi-Fi, AC, laundry, snack bar, TV room. Enjoy hiking and beach access. Board games available. No smoking. Perfect place suits my needs every time, no regrets.

we had an incredible time at funky monkey. from the moment we arrived, the staff and guests were welcoming and friendly. the rooms were cozy, with comfortable beds and clean facilities. the complimentary waffles for breakfast and other perks like barbeque dinners added a special touch to our stay. the hostel's communal area was perfect for relaxing and socializing, making our experience truly enjoyable.

Stayed at Funky Monkey for 5 nights during the Full Moon Party. Julius, the host, creates a friendly atmosphere. Comfortable beds, refreshingly air, conditioned rooms, and access, controlled lockers. Clean bathrooms and close to the beach. Pre, party buckets at great prices with glow paint add to the fun. Thoughtful amenities provided like beverages, fruits, and waffles. Julius organizes activities like hikes and dinners, making socializing easy.

Would definitely recommend this hotel.

the owner, Julius, went above and beyond to make our experience memorable with group dinners and excursions. the location was perfect, close to the Full Moon Party but still peaceful. the relaxed atmosphere, beach access, and live entertainment made for a great bonding experience. the nearby landmarks, especially Haad Thian Beach and Jungle Experience, added an extra layer of adventure and fun. the BBQ facilities were a hit, allowing for great socializing and family time.

Absolute gem of a spot! Just steps away from the famous Full Moon Party beach, this place offers a clean and cozy room with complimentary toiletries and water aplenty. Help yourself to the free breakfast and snacks available all day. You won't need a bike to explore the numerous nearby bars and restaurants. the host is a sweetheart, making sure we had an epic hike up to a breathtaking viewpoint. the sociable atmosphere here tops any other hostel I've hit up during my travels!

Just a couple of small hiccups - the bed linen wasn't fresh upon check-in, but the reception swiftly sorted it out. the lockers are a tad tiny, so bring a lock for your valuables.

Had a decent time during the romantic getaway. the staff was friendly and helpful. the location was indeed close to the party area.

The room was not as clean as expected. the noise level at night was a bit too much for a peaceful stay with noise coming from nearby surroundings.
