Lovely stay, central location, friendly staff, complimentary drinks and snacks, quiet room, excellent breakfast choice.

Nothing it was perfect.

The hotel had a great location, within easy walking distance to major tourist attractions and restaurants. the staff were helpful and friendly from the moment we arrived. the bed was very comfortable and we enjoyed a great night's sleep. the hotel also offered a complimentary tea and coffee station in the foyer and a delicious breakfast with plenty of options.

There were a few small issues with cleanliness in our room, but the staff were quick to respond and rectify the situation. the room was facing a busy road which caused some noise at times.

The charming Villa Lantara was a perfect choice for my stay in Chiang Mai. The hotel's beautiful ambience transported me to a French 50's Indo-China style villa. Conveniently located within the ancient city, I had easy access to the major temples and a wide variety of restaurants. The central market was also just a short walk away. The staff were incredibly polite and helpful throughout my stay, making me feel truly welcome. My room, with a balcony overlooking the private gardens, provided a peaceful retreat. The fixed-price airport transportation was a convenient perk. I had a delightful experience at Villa Lantara and would gladly stay there again.

One minor drawback was the wet area behind the sink, where black mold was starting to grow. Additionally, the hotel is situated on a busy and noisy street, but the soundproof windows effectively minimized the disturbance.

We recently stayed at Villa Lantara for a few nights and had a wonderful experience. The room was comfortable and we loved the separate space for the toilet and shower. Our room also had a nice balcony. The staff were incredibly friendly and helpful, and the central location made it easy for us to explore. The location of this hotel is fantastic, with two night markets within walking distance and easy access to many areas of the city. The Saturday market at the South Gate is also close by, making it convenient for exploring. The rooms are clean and comfortable, with a balcony option available for a pleasant view of the private gardens. The staff are friendly and helpful, providing excellent service throughout the stay. The breakfast offers a variety of options, including both Western and Thai choices.

I had an amazing stay at this luxurious hotel! The staff were incredibly friendly and helpful, making me feel right at home. The bed was extremely comfortable, allowing me to get a great night's sleep. The hotel even went above and beyond by packing me a breakfast to go when I had to leave early for an excursion. The room was spacious and had a lovely balcony where I could relax and enjoy the view. The location of this hotel was perfect - close to the city centre and within walking distance to the markets. I was really impressed with the attentive service and enhanced comfort provided at this hotel.
