The rooms are well-furnished and have a great view. The beds are firm but large, ensuring a comfortable sleep after a day of sightseeing. The hotel offers basic amenities like a shower cabin, and the water pressure is fantastic. The breakfast at this hotel is delicious and offers a perfect view from the rooftop. It's a great way to start your day in Istanbul.

The breakfast staff were wonderful, friendly and attentive. Great selection of food. Convenient location near Blue Mosque and other attractions. Helpful front desk staff, especially Nezvhat. Clean room with AC and amazing terrace view.

During my stay at Megara Palace, I was pleasantly surprised by the warm and welcoming service provided. The ever-hospitable Mazlum invited me to enjoy complimentary tea in the charming restaurant on the fourth floor, offering a magnificent view of the Bosphorus and Sea of Marmara. The delicious dinners I had there were a true treat, allowing me to discover the delights of Turkish wine and raki.

Despite some minor issues such as smoke waves from other rooms and the lack of sound isolation that seems to be a common problem in Istanbul hotels, my experience at Megara Palace - Old City was exceptional. The lack of a lift was not a concern for me, but it should be noted for guests who may find it important.

The hotel was quite affordable and had a very friendly staff. the hotel room was very clean and well kept. I loved the fact that the hotel was located very close to the must-see sights, making it easy to explore the city on foot.

Although the hotel was affordable and located in a prime area, there were a few things that could be improved. the lack of an elevator made it hard for me to carry my luggage up four flights of stairs.

I recently stayed at Megara Palace in Istanbul for a few days to explore the city. The location was outstanding, just a few minutes from Sultanahmet square. The views from the hotel, especially from the restaurant on the top floor, were indescribably amazing. The staff at the hotel were incredibly helpful and friendly, going above and beyond to make my stay memorable. They even surprised me with a cake for my birthday and upgraded my room. The rooms were comfortable and clean, with some offering great views. The breakfast spread was good, and I loved the cozy atmosphere. I would definitely recommend staying at Megara Palace for a fantastic experience.
