perfect spot for exploring parks and local attractions

my stay was truly delightful, especially because I was just a short walk from the beautiful Khozam Park, which was great for a leisurely stroll and some fresh air, and I loved how close it was to the RAK National Museum, allowing me to dive into the local culture easily during my city explorations.

The hotel is ideally located near the beach and city center, making it easy to explore local attractions. The facilities are quite nice, with a lovely pool area that my kids enjoyed. Additionally, the breakfast selection was diverse and satisfying for our family.

Our only issue was the slow service at the bar during our stay.

check-in took an eternity, 40 minutes in the heat wating for a key? absoluteley absurd! and when the staff wrongly accused us of not paying for dinner, silence! ! just a half-hearted 'oops' afterwards. i expected a complimentary gesture to make up for that. i swear some guests get treated like royalty while i felt like a lost sheep.

The room was spacious with a smart TV and good breakfast variety. Dine-in service was impressively fast and the pool area was enjoyable.

The kids' pool was a delightful surprise, providing a great space for children to enjoy safely.

The carpets in the rooms are very dirty, which is off-putting and raises concerns about cleanliness.

Everything met my expectations.

Upon check-in, I was informed my reserved room wasn't available, and I received a supposedly upgraded room that was smaller and lacked the requested bathtub. The staff's attitude was unfriendly. maintenance was unresponsive to plumbing issues, and the pool area had a mosquito problem that left my daughter with numerous bites. On a positive note, the grilled fish at the on-site restaurant was delicious, and the ambiance near the lake was quite pleasant for family walks.

Fresh omelette at breakfast was the highlight.

The hotel has a lovely sand beach with a beautiful backdrop of mountains. The food variety at breakfast was disappointing, lacking fresh options on some days.

Lovely staff made us feel right at home! The location is fab, and they whip up a mean scrambled egg. We stayed for five nights, and it was all very enjoyable.

However, I did expect someone to carry my bags and not a gust of wind! Who knew upgrades could come with more confusion than a game of chess?
