Nestled in the picturesque Cumbrian countryside, 1692 Wasdale offered a serene escape for me and my 18, month, old. the peaceful garden area and cozy TV room were perfect for relaxation. the nearby St Mary's Church was a charming landmark to explore, just 2.12 km away, enhancing our family bonding experience.

My husband and I had the most amazing stay at 1692 Wasdale. The rooms were absolutely stunning, with luxurious touches like a super king size bed and a free standing bath. We were pleasantly surprised to find that the hotel accommodates dogs and even provides all the necessary amenities for them. I highly recommend this boutique B&B for a perfect getaway.

The location of the hotel was stunning, with easy access to a takeaway shop for convenience. We also enjoyed the proximity to the coast where we could make out the Isle of Man and the beautiful lakes. The Fells Suite room had amazing views over the fields and was well-appointed with top quality linen and towels. The bathroom was truly luxurious with a large bath, walk-in shower, and even an electrically operated roof light.

The family owners provide a warm welcome, perfect for relaxation. The location is great for climbing Scafell pike, with pubs nearby and the offer of a pick-up.
