The location of the cottage was fantastic, with everything you need just a short walk away. There were shops, pubs, and restaurants right on the doorstep, making it incredibly convenient. The kitchen in the cottage was well-equipped with everything you could possibly need, allowing for a comfortable self-catering experience. The beds were also extremely comfortable, with fresh and lovely-smelling linen that added to the overall coziness of the cottage.

It was a bit challenging to find the cottage initially as it was tucked away down a small path. parking was occasionally a problem, which could be a bit inconvenient.

The attention to detail in the decor was evident and done to a high standard. The owner had thoughtfully left tea and coffee supplies, as well as toiletries and even a gift of local honey. It truly felt like a home away from home. Despite a small challenge in finding the cottage initially, tucked away down a small path, the location was excellent, right by Matlock high street. Parking could be occasionally problematic, but it did not detract from my overall experience. I had an exceptional stay and would gladly recommend this cottage to anyone seeking a cozy and well-equipped getaway.
