During our stay at A Fourteen, we were greeted with freshly baked shortbread, bread, and delicious eggs. The garden was a perfect spot for the children to enjoy a game of badminton, and the surrounding nature, including cows and a pig in neighboring fields, was a treat for our dog. The cottage was cozy and well-equipped, with spacious bedrooms and spotless cleanliness. The owner checked in on us and made us feel welcome, and the information provided about the area was helpful. The private, fully enclosed garden at the rear, complete with BBQ facilities, was ideal for our dogs. The location offered breathtaking views of the mountains. We were also impressed by the modern and homely decor of the apartment, as well as the welcoming gift of homemade soda bread, scones, jam, and fresh eggs. The beautiful garden and surrounding mountain views added to the charm. we had a wonderful stay and would recommend A Fourteen to anyone looking for a perfect getaway.

Excellent hosts, homemade goodies on arrival, stunning views, close to the beach, great for kids and pets, well-equipped and clean rooms. Highly recommended. 5 stars.

We had a fantastic stay at A Fourteen. The location was perfect for exploring the North coast and the property itself was well-equipped for our family. We loved being able to cook our own meals using the fresh vegetables from the garden and the free-range eggs provided by Sue and Graham, who were excellent hosts. The property is beautiful and offers stunning views of the Mourne Mountains. Our daughter had a great time playing in the gorgeous garden and identifying the vegetables growing there. The bedrooms were spacious, the place was spotless, and there was plenty of information about the area and facilities. We also appreciated the use of the bikes and the friendly check-ins from the owners. it was a cozy and comfortable place to stay.
