I recently had a lovely stay at a family run hotel just outside the town centre. The hotel was located in a quiet area of town, which made for a peaceful stay. The staff were incredibly friendly and accommodating, providing excellent service throughout my visit. The attention to detail was evident in every aspect of the hotel, from the basic amenities to the rooms themselves. I was particularly impressed by the size of the en suite bathroom, which was spacious and well-maintained. The bed was also very comfortable, ensuring a restful night's sleep. Additionally, the breakfast served at the hotel was outstanding, with freshly cooked options and various slices of fruit. The super helpful waitress made sure that my dining experience was enjoyable. this hotel provided great value for money and a pleasant stay.

We recently stayed at Abbeydale Hotel for a weekend getaway. The warm welcome from the friendly staff immediately made us feel at home. The cleanliness of the entire hotel, from the rooms to the common areas, was impeccable. The comfortable bed with high-quality bedding ensured a good night's sleep, and the thick and fluffy towels added a touch of luxury. The hotel's great location, just a 5-minute walk from the town center, made it convenient to explore. Finn and Elsa, the wonderful hosts, provided us with helpful local recommendations and served delicious meals made from locally sourced ingredients. Without a doubt, one of the best hotels we've stayed at.

The room was clean and comfortable, providing a cozy environment to relax after exploring the city.- The breakfast served at the hotel was excellent, with a wide range of options including delicious cooked breakfast.

The water in the bath was only lukewarm in the evening, which was not ideal for a relaxing soak. The toilet flush in our en suite was poor, and the shower head spray was thin and in need of descaling.

The hotel was very clean and well equipped. The rooms were beautifully decorated and the beds were really comfortable. The shower was great with good water pressure, and there was a wide range of delicious food options for breakfast. The location was perfect, situated in a quiet residential street but still close to the city center. the hotel had a large car park nearby, ensuring convenient parking for guests.

The staff could have been a bit more welcoming and informative about local dining options. The bathroom facilities could use some improvement, as the temperature of the bath water was lukewarm and the toilet flush was quite weak.

I've stayed here twice now, and it's the only place I would choose in Chesterfield. The owners are so welcoming, the rooms are comfortable, and the whole hotel is impeccably clean. Breakfast is freshly cooked and delicious. Cannot fault it at all, and have recommended it to everyone. Close enough to stroll into town, a good place to visit. Hosts are very friendly. Reasonably priced compared to others, with a great car park. Comfortable and helpful staff made our stay enjoyable.

Stayed here for a weekend and was pleasantly surprised by the welcome we received. Our room had a well-stocked welcome tray with varied teas and bottled water. Breakfast had a great selection of fruit, cereals and cooked food. Location was perfect for exploring the surrounding area.

The shower was a bit feeble, but it was manageable. One morning, we were woken up by a leaking shower in the room above us.

charming and welcoming, felt like old England with modern amenities. Finn & Else were fantastic hosts. Chesterfield and surrounding areas have a wonderful atmosphere.
