My wife and I recently stayed at Ackroyd House for a weekend getaway. From the moment we arrived, we were greeted with warm hospitality by Jane, Andrew, and Snoopy. They went above and beyond to make our stay special, with thoughtful touches like champagne, flowers, and chocolates for my wife's birthday. The homemade breakfast was delicious and cooked to perfection each morning. The property was extremely comfortable, with amenities like tea, coffee, and biscuits available. The stunning views from our room were truly amazing. We can't wait to return and enjoy another peaceful break at this wonderful B&B.

The room was spacious and had a spectacular view. The added touch of a decanter of sherry in the room was a nice surprise. I also appreciated the access to a good selection of wines. The peaceful and restful atmosphere made it the perfect getaway. The breakfast was delicious and there was a wide variety to choose from. I especially enjoyed the homemade dark marmalade.

I couldn't find anything negative about my stay. Everything was perfect and I had an amazing time.
