Great location, close to Barbican with lovely views from rooms. Comfy beds, good shower. Bar and staff were nice.

The location was fantastic, with a beautiful view of the harbor and close proximity to the city center. The hotel facilities were great, with a large TV and ample wardrobe and drawer space. The separate entrance to the rooms was a nice touch, especially since the pub closed early on Sundays. The staff were friendly and accommodating, replacing a broken shower unit right away and providing clean towels daily.

The location of this hotel is unbeatable, right on the harbour front with easy access to a variety of restaurants. The rooms offer stunning views of the marina, and despite being above a pub, they are surprisingly quiet. The staff is attentive and helpful, providing generous supplies of tea, coffee, and milk. the comfortable beds and clean white bedding make for a pleasant stay.

The bathroom is in need of some maintenance, such as towel rails and light bulbs, which can affect the overall experience.

the location was perfect, just a short walk from the town center and close to all the local attractions. I particularly loved the historic setting, as the Pilgrim Fathers and ships from the first fleet to Australia departed from the steps just below my window. the room was spacious and well-equipped, with a charming antique fireplace in the corner. the linens were soft and clean, ensuring a comfortable night's sleep.

For us, it was ideal! 😊

the perfect location, waterfront views, clean room with great facilities, friendly staff, comfortable bed, and original fireplace. A superb location to explore Plymouth and enjoy the fireworks. Everything we expected and more from a traditional 200-year-old pub-style accommodation.
