This lovely terraced house is perfectly situated near the city centre, making it convenient to explore all the attractions. It's just a short walk to the famous Minster and the historic city walls. The location is also quiet, providing a peaceful atmosphere for a good night's rest. The house itself is comfortable, clean, and well-equipped, making it ideal for families with small children. The hosts are friendly and attentive, ensuring a pleasant stay. Plus, there are excellent amenities such as WiFi, Netflix, books, and board games for entertainment.

Although the communication with the owners was challenging, it doesn't overshadow the overall positive experience of the stay.

We had everything we needed for a great stay - tea/coffee, towels, hairdryer. The house was nicely decorated and furnished, and had all the amenities for self catering. The location was fantastic, just a short walk to the center of the city. The value for money compared to a hotel was excellent. The key box made it easy for us to check in without any hassle.

the location was perfect, allowing us to easily walk into the city center and explore all the attractions. the house itself was beautifully appointed with a lovely open plan kitchen and sitting/dining room. This setup was ideal for our two-night stay with our two grandchildren, who absolutely loved the Netflix offer. We were able to relax together, enjoying home-cooked pizzas and even a delivered meal on the second night. the convenience of having a Sainsbury right behind the building made preparing meals a breeze. the key being in a lockbox for our arrival was also a great convenience, as it allowed us flexibility with our travel timings. the small garden was perfect for our dog and the cozy atmosphere of the house made us feel right at home. it was a comfortable and enjoyable stay that exceeded our expectations.

I recently stayed at the lovely Agar Street Villa in York for a short break with my dog. The communication and accommodation were excellent, and the quiet location allowed for a peaceful stay. The spaciousness of the villa was a great bonus, and we had everything we needed, including a nearby Sainsbury's for convenience. I loved being able to make our own "hotel cooked breakfast" and having access to Netflix. The washer dryer was fabulous, and the beds were incredibly comfortable. The fan in the bedroom was a nice touch, making our stay cool and enjoyable. Thank you!
